Tonight I went to see the fireworks display at Edgbaston Cricket Stadium and I really struggled. Last year the event was better, but that’s not why I struggled.
Right now, there is a genocide taking place in Palestine. You might remember I wrote an article a few years ago about Palestine 🇵🇸🍉Verses Israel.
The events of September 7th were going to happen eventually. I mean if you keep poking a bear 🐻 eventually it’s going to lash out. I say this from literal experience. I used to have a friend, in primary school who literally kept poking me. I warned her, she didn’t stop 🛑 and I stabbed her in the hand with a pencil ✏. Maybe that makes me a psycho but we were best friends for a long time, even though we no longer speak, she has a scar that reminds her of me. Now I’m going off on a tangent.
Unfortunately what Zionists don’t understand is, you can condemn the attacks and still be Pro Palestinian. Just like you can be Jewish and be Pro Palestinian or Jewish and Anti Zionist.
The problem is, any time anyone critisises Israel, they get accused of being antisemitic. Yet there are Jewish people out there (I met a great one) who are critical of what the state of Israel is doing. But they’re then accused by Zionists and Israel of being self hating Jews.
Israel is using collective punishment to punish thousands of Palestinians for what Hamas orcastrated. Israel is committing war crimes. The UK, USA and France are all complicit. I can’t talk about this much longer but I sat watching fireworks and was thinking about the Palestinians who are watching bombs fall. I saw beautiful colours and thought of the Palestinians who see bombs and bloodshed. I heard the fireworks bang and thought of the Palestinians who are being massacred by guns and bombs. My audience is small, but I will forever raise my voice against what is wrong without fear of repercussions and full faith in my God having my back. Free Palestine 🇵🇸 🇵🇸 🇵🇸 🍉🍉🍉
