I’ve never written a dissertation before because covid… so I’m really struggling to find a topic. I have to get a move on because this is my final module.
However, I booked a meeting with Olivia. She’s a librarian at university but she probably has a more fancy title than that. I told her about my story (she’s shockingly the one who knows the most without reading it) and we came up with some ideas 💡
I was glad to realise there’s a fair amount of research around part of my story.
Unfortunately, I still don’t have a topic BUT that is tomorrow’s meeting with my supervisor Tim. He’s also course director/module leader.
I love the fact that Olivia said my idea 💡 was unique and interesting 🤔 plus she already wants to read the book! I knew it was a great idea. But having an opinion from a third party who isn’t connected to the story is pretty damn amazing 👏
Wish me luck and hope I have a topic at the end of my meeting tomorrow 🙃 fingers crossed 🤞🏼
