So as you probably already know… I finally finished my first draft of my children’s book. Apparently… I can’t shut up about it.
I’m finally putting a list of Literary Agents together. So far I have picked 3 but I want at least 10 as I plan to submit to multiple agents at the same time. I know they might all reject me (I really hope they don’t) but sometimes life doesn’t work out. However, I have faith in my story. I’m sure this will change my mind. Crazy thing is I’ve finished one children’s book. I’m half way through writing a different one and I also had an idea for a new one. Once I’m represented maybe I can quit my day job 😆 that’s the hope anyway. I’ve already written my first query letter. I’m really excited about this. I feel like my life is about to change but I’m a bit confused because my novels have been placed on the back burner whilst I’m dealing with the children’s books. I do know I need to focus on my novels too because one has been in progress for two years! So I’m planning to apply for some scholarships in writing.
